Concert is nearing.

Concert is nearing With our concert date coming closer an closer, our dancers are working harder than ever to perfect their dances. Every practice is a competition against time to make sure our steps are synchronize and graceful. With all three dances complete and ready to go, the dancers went to their first rehearsal last Friday in order to get the lighting and music ready and to get used to their positions on stage. It is indeed tough for our dancers as next Monday shall be their last practice before they stand down for a long time. Furthermore, the stress level is constantly rising as our Year 2s and Year 4s have to prepare for our common test along with the dances, with many Year 4s having their oral just next Monday, missing their last practice before they stand down for exams. Whew, talk about a stressful time. However, our dancers have come far for this year and I am sure with the perseverance that all of them have, they would again overcome this time and put up somethi...

Practice Time!!!

Back to practice Although CNY performance is over, but... our dancers are still hard as ever. Our job is never done as next we prepare for our Kaleidescope performance. During Kaleidescope, we will be combining with a variety of different dancers such as our school own English Dance and Senior High modern dance. Also, there will be live orchestra music to accompany the gracefulness of the dance. What a wonderful experience it will be. We will be dancing the same dance together with them that will be taught by our instructor. I am sure our dancers would benefit much from this combine performance, learning how to cooperate together with other forms of dances that varies from Chinese Dance. Whew.... it seems to be alot of work. Aside from Kaleidescope, our dancers are also hard at work practicing for our concert, happening later in the year. CNY preparations

CNY Dance Preparation In Dunman High School, Chinese New Year celebration is coming up. The whole school is doing their best in preparation for the celebration and of course my cca, Chinese Dance, is not going to slack off either. They have all been working hard to perfect their item for the performance. Don't they look beautiful in their costumes for the dance. As part of the Chinese culture, my cca is determined to give a performance fellow teachers and Dunmanians would not forget. Not even a twisted ankle would be able to stop our passion from flowing out through our dance steps and our determination to put up a great performance. We all practice until 7pm, which is passed our usual cca timings just to prepare for this, even our teachers stayed back to provide support for us. I am proud of my cca for all their efforts that have been put into this dance for the past few months and I definitely look forward to their performance on that day. JIAYOUS CHINESE DANC...
